The Association for Medical Imaging Management is all geared up for to reform the community through AHRA 2011, the 39th Annual Meeting and Exposition, which will be held at the Gaylord Texas in Grapevine, TX, from August 14-17, 2011.

AHRA extends over the platform to the community for learning/education and social networking, as caters to the community with varied opportunities through educational and learning programs, displays and exhibitions/exposition etc.!

Set up to witness more than 1,000 imaging leaders from different parts of the globe, for to create synergy for the development and the improvement of the nuclear medicine community and medical imaging association, all in all, for a win-win situation.

The conference poster session is on, for all that want to partake in it. The subject for conference poster presentation is PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT. Conference poster entries should be related to somewhat the partakers have done at their facilities, showing measurable outcomes.

The topic should be all-embracing, with specific cases - lean six sigma; safety, cost, new technology, patient satisfaction, turnaround times, process times, results reporting, false positives/negatives etc.

Scientific posters will have in general - including but not limited to subsequent divisions: title, introduction, methods and materials, outcomes/conclusions, acknowledgments/citations, further information etc.

Poster dimensions should not go beyond 36” x 48”. No constraint on word count, but briefness is vital - less than 800 words would be idealistic with graphics.

Partakers for the poster session conference would be responsible for furnishing, adverting, and dispatching their own posters. Partakers are not required to officially deliver the poster, but are advocated to be available for answering queries, from attendants. A local printer will be made available to partakers, if they do not wish to ship materials or carry along.

All the entries for conference poster sessions will be reviewed for qualification, and acceptance notification will be given by July 1. Conference attendees will cast their vote, on site, for the winning entries. Winners will be declared on the concluding day of the convention.

After the annual conference, all the submitted posters will be put forth through the website of AHRA for all the community members to get benefited from the information.
