AMD Global Telemedicine to unveil its new HD Camera and Illumination System and expanded telemedicine cart offerings at the ATA Mid Year Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland.

AMD Global Telemedicine , Inc., the world’s leading supplier of telemedicine technology, devices, and application software for both dynamic encounters (live telemedicine) and deferred consultations, is pleased to announce that the official launch of its AMD-500 HD Camera and Illumination System will take place at the ATA Mid Year Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland. AMD will also be unveiling its expanded offering of telemedicine carts at the meeting.

The AMD-500 HD Camera and Illumination System is a multi-scope analog and digital high-definition camera and light source that produces superior quality images required by physician. The system drives a wide variety of diagnostic devices, including an ENT/otoscope, direct ophthalmoscope, dermascope and various flexible scopes.

In addition to launching the HD Camera and Illumination System, AMD is also adding a wireless telemedicine cart to their product offerings. The cart’s wireless capability significantly expands the capability of where and how telemedicine consultations can occur. This new wireless cart has on-board battery power for true mobility along with field proven wireless connectivity, providing roaming capability throughout an entire medical facility.
