AMD Global Telemedicine will attend the Thai Medical Informatics 2009 Association Annual Meeting

AMD Global Telemedicine , Inc. (AMD), the worldwide leading supplier of telemedicine technology, devices and application software, and a Polycom ARENA Partner, announced that it will attend the Thai Medical Informatics 2009 Association Annual Meeting (TMI 2009) by invitation in Bangkok, Thailand from Nov. 18-20, 2009.

The TMI 2009 annual meeting is a regional event organized by Thai Medical Informatics Association. This year's meeting expects to bring together more than 1,000 delegates who are specifically looking for new technology advances in medical IT.

As a Polycom ARENA Partner, AMD Global Telemedicine will feature its innovative technological advances in telemedicine including the AMD Dynamic Encounter Network (ADEN). ADEN allows for the capture, control, transmission and management of robust medical device data at the highest quality and lowest bandwidth available today and is directly applicable to the challenges of delivering healthcare in Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries.

In addition to exhibiting, AMD Global Telemedicine President, Steven Normandin and Polycom's Global Director of Healthcare, Ron Emerson, have been asked to give a joint presentation to the TMI attendees. The presentation entitled Helping Doctors Extend Their Reach will answer the question of why telemedicine, while also touching upon the global tr and the newest technologies in the field of telemedicine.

Attendance at key conferences, tradeshows and meetings such as TMI 2009 is a strategic focus of AMD as it builds worldwide awareness of its telemedicine solutions.
