The American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) 2009 Annual Meeting will take place in Boston, MA from April 26 – May 1. As the first and oldest radiology society in the United States, the ARRS has been a forum for education and learning amongst radiologists since the discovery of the X-Ray. Its goal is to aid in the advancement of medicine through the science of radiology and its allied sciences. Besides offering an annual scientific, instructional, and educational meeting, ARRS publishes the American Journal of Roentgenology (AJR), one of the most highly respected peer-reviewed journals in the industry, circulating over 25,000 globally. This year’s meeting in Boston will be held at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center, right in the heart of the city. Radiologists, allied health professionals, and medical imaging vendors will meet to exchange information pertaining to the practice and new developments of radiology, while also attending educational courses and sessions, symposiums, and keynote series presentations.
