The 52nd ASTRO ( American Society for Radiation Oncology ) annual meeting, ASTRO 2010 will take place from October 31 - November 4, 2010 at San Diego Convention Center, San Diego.

ASTRO 2010 Recognition Awards:

Gold Medal

The Gold Medal is ASTRO 's highest honor. It is bestowed on revered members who have made outstanding contributions to the field of radiation oncology, including research, clinical care, teaching and service. Recipients are drawn from any of the scientific disciplines represented by the members of the Society. The deadline for submitting 2010 nominations is March 31.

Honorary Membership

An Honorary Membership is the highest honor ASTRO bestows upon distinguished nonmember cancer researchers and leaders in disciplines other than radiation oncology, radiation physics or radiobiology. The deadline for submitting 2010 nominations is April 30.
