Partners with OR Technology to bring German-made system to U.S. veterinary market.
“Smartest” veterinary PACS integrates with AVImark.

McAllister Software Systems ®, creators of AVImark® veterinary software, has launched a new picture archiving and communication system ( PACS ) called DragonflyPACS®. Utilizing an industry-leading image processing system created by OR Technology in Germany, DragonflyPACS offers veterinarians much greater sophistication and flexibility in processing and archiving diagnostic images compared with other image processing systems.

Initially designed with the input of doctors and specialists, DragonflyPACS offers outstanding image quality that's compliant with DICOM 3.0 standards. It's compatible with a variety of images and equipment, on any computer throughout a veterinary practice, and it's extremely user-friendly, with advanced tools for magnification, measurement, and manipulation of images to aid in diagnosing conditions. DragonflyPACS also offers special tools such as preoperative planning, Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA), Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO), Buchanan's Vertebral Heart Score, and hip dysplasia measurements.

DragonflyPACS is integrated with AVImark veterinary software, so veterinarians can request, receive, view, and store images within AVImark's Client Information Display (CID), while automatically capturing charges and passing them on to clients.
