Multi-functional floor-mounted DX-D 400 offers smooth entry into digital radiography

Integrated digital X-ray room at an affordable starting price. - Scalable from manual/analog through CR to fully motorized/integrated DR. - Consistently high image quality offers potential dose reduction for patients.

( RSNA-2010 Booth #8336) Agfa HealthCare , a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions, announces that it will introduce its new DX-D 400 family of X-ray units ( FDA pending) at RSNA 2010. This affordable and versatile solution, which complements Agfa HealthCare's range of radiology solutions, offers every hospital and private practice the opportunity to go digital at its own pace.

Smooth entry into digital radiography

DX-D 400 is designed for facilities ranging from private practices to larger hospitals, which seek an affordable growth path from analog to digital. Different configurations are possible, allowing DX-D 400 to be used with film, as well as with portable computed radiography (CR) or direct radiography (DR) detectors. For facilities wishing to minimize manual handling, CR and DR detectors can be completely integrated in a fully motorized DX-D 400 X-ray unit configuration. For CR, both powder phosphor and needle phosphor versions are available. For DR, one or two detectors with either gadolinium or cesium iodide technology can be used. DX-D 400 also provides seamless connectivity with radiology information systems ( RIS ) and picture archiving and communication systems ( PACS ).
