Maxwell Imaging, P.C. Selects Aspyra RIS/PACS to Automate Center

Company News - Aspyra, Inc.
Aspyra, Inc. (AMEX - APY) announced that the Company has contracted with Maxwell Medical Imaging, P.C.,a state-of-the-art multi-modality imaging center in Lower Manhattan, New York, to provide Aspyra's AccessRAD Radiology Information System (RIS) / Picture Archive Communication System (PACS) integrated solution. Neil Mosesson, Administrator of Maxwell Medical stated, "Maxwell Medical is a patient-centric facility. We selected Aspyra's RIS/PACS because it will allow us to keep the patient first." He continued, "With use of this system, our radiologists will have online access to current and prior patient history while viewing new images. This will expedite our report turnaround to referring clinicians and increase the efficiency of our IT systems by implementing an integrated RIS/PACS solution."

"Organizations such as Maxwell Medical face demanding timelines, lower reimbursement and fierce competition, while maintaining a high standard quality care," stated Bill Culton, Aspyra Diagnostic Solutions Product Manager. He continued, "From our appointment scheduling and pre-authorization worklists to management of outside reads and images, AccessRAD will enable Maxwell Medical to improve productivity, view more images and capture the necessary codes to properly bill for exams and services performed, with a single product solution."

Aspyra's AccessRAD RIS/PACS is designed to meet the needs of acute care hospitals, enterprise-wide delivery networks, and medium to large imaging centers, with end-to-end solutions that automate processes at every point of patient and imaging encounter workflow. Aspyra will be demonstrating AccessRAD RIS/PACS at the RSNA 2008 Annual Conference, held at the McCormick Convention Center in Chicago, November 30 - December 4, 2008. Aspyra will be at booth 6610, South Hall.
