KLAS Ranks Avreo interWORKS/interFLOW #1 Ambulatory RIS Solution in 2009 RIS Report

Company News - Avreo, Inc
Avreo announced that KLAS Enterprises has ranked Avreo interWORKS interFLOW 1st for ambulatory RIS in the 2009 The Revival of RIS report. Avreo announced today that KLAS Enterprises, LLC, an independently owned and operated healthcare research organization, has ranked Avreo interWORKS interFLOW 1st for ambulatory RIS in the 2009 The Revival of RIS report. Avreo’s interWORKS interFLOW product earned a high score of 88.7 out of 100, well above the 77.8 average performance score. The report evaluated RIS systems from 7 ambulatory RIS vendor solutions and study results are based on the interviews of over 190 ambulatory healthcare organizations. In addition to this #1 rating, KLAS also ranked Avreo’s interWORKS interVIEW product #1 in the 2008 Community Hospital PACS report.

Avreo received the highest or tied for the highest score for 34 indicators in the Product and Technology, Service, Success, and Business categories out of a total of 40 indicators. For receiving the highest overall performance score in the 2009 The Revival of RIS report, KLAS ranked Avreo interWORKS interFLOW as #1 in the Ambulatory RIS market.

Avreo’s Radiology Workflow Solutions, including interWORKS interFLOW, were developed from the ground up to incorporate all Radiology Workflow services in a single-database, single-server system. These services provide scheduling, registration, technologist quality assurance, diagnostic and clinical viewing, dictation, transcription, automated report distribution, insurance verification, precertification, mammography viewing, and referring physician access.

“Avreo is extremely honored to have interWORKS interFLOW named the Number ONE ambulatory RIS vendor by the independent research firm KLAS,” said John Sloan, CEO of Avreo. “At Avreo, our primary goal is to develop Radiology Workflow Solutions that help our customers provide outstanding service to both patients and physicians, while streamlining their internal radiology workflow and processes.”

The Avreo RIS mimics the familiar paper workflow common to radiology departments and ambulatory imaging centers. Its Masterfolder concept facilitates physician adoption by emulating a traditional radiology jacket, making it both easy to learn and access information. Avreo’s color-coded scheduling DayPlanner provides an at-a-glance status report of all appointments scheduled for every resource and modality. Automated report distribution functionality distributes reports to referring physicians through their choice of email, fax, or network printer. Avreo consistently supports its clients at a high level with an easy to implement, easy to use integrated RIS/PACS solution.
