Top Interventional Cardiologists and Innovators to Gather in Tel Aviv

Hundreds of Interventional Cardiologists, Innovators and professionals from the Industry will meet in Tel Aviv at the annual Innovations in Cardiovascular Interventions meeting
Scheduled for 6-8 December 2009, the event is a continuation of the series of international conferences in interventional cardiology held in Israel since 1995, and will include the first ever Academy of Innovations. Keeping with tradition, the prestigious event will be held at the David InterContinental hotel in Tel Aviv under the auspices of Israel Heart Society, Friends of the Israeli Heart Society and Israel Life Science Industry.
Highlighting the two day event will be speeches from prominent Cardiologists and Innovators from Japan, Brazil, Russia, Germany, The Netherlands, Georgia, India, Turkey, USA, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, Greece, Canada and of course, Israel, to name a few.
The focus of this year’s meeting, chaired by Prof. Rafael Beyar and Prof. Chaim Lotan, is innovative technologies and therapies. The program will highlight numerous hot topics including new devices for trancatheter therapeutics, drug eluting stents, novel molecular therapeutics, vascular molecular biology, restenosis solutions, adjunctive drug therapy, carotid and valvular interventions, heart failure interventions and navigational and guidance percutaneous technologies. In addition, the meeting will introduce the first ever Academy of Innovations and will be dedicated to education and training about the process of biodesign innovations.
Thematic live case demonstrations and clinical overviews on specific topics with an emphasis on future perspectives will be presented by leading international experts. The meeting will also include technology sessions, industry-academia discussions, and a review of the regulatory aspects of new devices.
