CareTech Expands Services to Garden City Hospital With Radiology Workflow Technology

CareTech Solutions, an information technology (IT) and web products and services provider for hospitals and health systems, announced it has expanded the services to Garden City Hospital (GCH) of Garden City, Michigan by supporting AMICAS radiology workflow technology at the facility.

Under the terms of the agreement, CareTech will expand GCH's existing AMICAS PACS(TM) installation to include AMICAS Reach(TM) and AMICAS RIS(TM). CareTech will facilitate the project's implementation, enabling Garden City Hospital to drive radiology workflow improvements to support improved productivity and more efficient patient care.

Garden City Hospital, located northwest of Detroit, is an independent, 323-bed community hospital with 365 physicians in 47 specialities, from emergency medicine to critical care, from radiology to sports medicine, and from oncology to obstetrics/gynecology.

CareTech Solutions, Garden City Hospital's IT partner, will continue to support the hospital's AMICAS PACS and its extended radiology workflow solutions, and provide comprehensive training to the system's end users. CareTech has provided IT management services to Garden City Hospital since 2001.
