Carestream Health, Inc., announced that VirtuRad, Inc., has become a reseller and integrator of the company's digital medical imaging and healthcare IT systems in the US.
Under the agreement, VirtuRad - a systems integrator and reseller of digital imaging equipment and services in the orthopaedic and sports medicine market - will sell Carestream Health's complete range of digital medical imaging and IT solutions.

Carestream Health's portfolio includes: KODAK DIRECTVIEW Computed Radiography and Digital Radiography Systems for capturing digital x-ray images; KODAK Point-of-Care CR Systems-mobile x-ray units that deliver enhanced image quality; CARESTREAM PACS for the management, viewing, sharing and storage of radiology imaging studies along with CARESTREAM RIS for management of patient information; information management solutions that provide on-site or hosted storage solutions; and laser imaging systems for printing digital medical images onto radiographic film.
