Carestream: Markus Lusser Appointed Senior VP

Markus B. Lusser joined Carestream Health as Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Services.

Markus B. Lusser has joined Carestream Health , Inc., as Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Services, and a member of the company’s senior leadership team.

Lusser is responsible for leading the sales, installation and support for Carestream Health’s broad portfolio of digital medical imaging systems, healthcare IT solutions, medical film systems and printers. The company’s sales, sales operations and services teams will report directly to him.

With cross-functional expertise in the medical imaging and services industries, Lusser joins Carestream Health from Siemens Healthcare where he worked for 20 years in a variety of progressively responsible marketing, product management, sales and service leadership roles. He was most recently the Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing for Siemens’ Molecular Imaging business.

Lusser earned an Electrical Engineering Degree in Telecommunications and Electronics from the College of Electrical Engineering in Innsbruck, Austria (HTBLA). He will be based at Carestream Health ’s world headquarters in Rochester, NY, and will relocate to the Rochester area in early 2010.
