Company Signs Multi-year Agreement With Carestream Health; New Digital Product Configuration Available Immediately

Genesis Digital Imaging, Inc., and Carestream Health, Inc., have signed a multi-year marketing agreement enabling Genesis Digital Imaging to immediately begin selling a new portable wireless detector manufactured by Carestream Health.

Genesis’ new NEO DR Wireless System includes a 14”x17” detector that sends patient medical images wirelessly to the acquisition workstation in less than five seconds, as well as a generator interface and a total of three rechargeable batteries to assure continuous image capture. The company will market the system in the U.S. through certified dealers and distributors.

Carestream Health ’s portable DR detector quickly and cost-effectively upgrades analog x-ray rooms to digital capabilities without the need to replace existing hardware. The system’s wireless capability enables faster patient throughput and increased productivity for radiology procedures.

The NEO DR Wireless System features advanced image processing and modality worklist interface software. With a streamlined workflow and color touch screen controls, the system is optimized for faster patient throughput, flexibility and increased usability. The system also comes with a choice of 12, 24 or 36-month warranty packages.

In combination with Carestream Health ’s wireless detector, the NEO DR Wireless System can be integrated into virtually any x-ray room, extending the lifetime of existing equipment, and provides a budget-friendly solution for healthcare providers of all sizes.
