MAGNET, a major U.S. healthcare group purchasing organization, added CARESTREAM DRX-1, CARESTREAM DRX-Evolution systems and CARESTREAM RIS/PACS from Carestream Health to their purchasing agreement.

The CARESTREAM DRX-1 System features a cassette-size DR detector that fits into an existing table or wall stand Bucky and communicates images over a wireless network connection. It enables cost-effective conversion from film or CR imaging systems to highly productive DR technology—without replacing x-ray systems or renovating exam rooms.

The CARESTREAM RIS/PACS offers advanced features that can enhance productivity and streamline workflow in single- or multi-site enterprises, while helping healthcare providers deliver excellent patient care.
