CoActiv Inks Reseller Agreement with NY Imaging Service Announces Nine New Sales in First Weeks of Relationship

Company News - CoActiv Medical
CoActiv announces an agreement with NY Imaging Service of Newburgh, NY for the distribution of its EXAM-PACS, EXAM-VAULT QUAD-REDUNDANT ARCHIVING and related digital image management products throughout the New York and Northern New Jersey regions. Significantly expanding its East Coast presence, CoActiv announces an agreement with NY Imaging Service of Newburgh, NY for the distribution of its EXAM-PACS, EXAM-VAULT® QUAD-REDUNDANT ARCHIVING and related digital image management products throughout the New York and Northern New Jersey regions. The distributor has already completed nine sales, many to women’s health centers, including Murray Hill Radiology & Mammography, New York City; Montclair Breast Center, Montclair, NJ; Women’s Digital Imaging of Ridgewood, NJ; Westchester Orthopaedic Associates, White Plains, NY; Excel Urgent Care, PLLC, New Windsor, NY; Metropolitan Neurosurgery Associates, Englewood, NJ; and Wilson Orthopaedics, Bronx, NY.

“CoActiv’s EXAM-PACS is packed with performance at a very affordable price. It truly is in a
class by itself,” said Bill Haussmann, CEO of NY Imaging. “There is no better proof than thatwe have been able to close so many sales in such a short time period. Customers are really drawn to all the advanced features and the reasonable price point.”

Haussmann notes that in addition to the quality of the EXAM-PACS product, NY Imaging also
decided to partner with CoActiv because of the product line’s flexible ability to support imaging centers, small hospitals and specialty practices, including orthopedic, chiropractic and veterinary practices. “Traditionally, NY Imaging’s client base has consisted of radiology clinics, many of which are just now going digital,” he said. “However, the adaptability of the EXAM-PACS solutions to scale from small clinics to major multi-site hospitals is opening new doorways for our business. Our hospital joint installations with CoActiv (Sound Shore Medical Center and Mount Vernon Hospital), in addition to the broad customer types mentioned above, show how adaptable the CoActiv product is. Moreover, CoActiv’s turnkey offsite archiving program will streamline the implementation and management of advanced primary and back up HIPAA compliant data storage.”

“Not only have we already closed nine sales, but we currently have about eight more sites that are near closing, including several more large regional and community hospitals. The CoActiv product is a great addition to our existing Digital Radiography product line. Combining CoActiv’s PACS product with our current DR imaging solution gives us a complete end-to-end solution with quality and prices that are unparalleled in the industry,” continued Haussmann.

CoActiv recently introduced a revolutionary new PACS that enables growing medical practices
to transition easily and affordably to complete digital imaging workflow. The comprehensive
plug-and-play EXAM ESSENTIALS solution combines all necessary software and hardware
components and installs in just minutes. It is supported by all standard IT infrastructures and has a cost-effective direct upgrade path to full EXAM-PACS enterprise functionality.

NY Imaging believes this solution will be an excellent fit for its clinic client base, while the full EXAM-PACS solution is well suited to larger imaging sites.

CoActiv EXAM-PACS is one of the most comprehensive digital image viewing, management,
communication and archiving solutions on the market today. In addition to offering specialized features for a full range of medical specialties that rely on imaging, it also supports a complete spectrum of modalities and related non-imaging data, from x-ray and CT to echo-cardiology, breast specific gamma imaging (BSGI) and oncology DICOM-RT datasets.

NY Imaging/CoActiv customers will also have the option to taking advantage of the innovative
CoActiv EXAM-VAULT QUAD-REDUNDANT ARCHIVING system, which stores all data in four geographically distinct locations for ultra fast access and communication as well as superiordisaster recovery and business continuity. The solution typically is configured to store 5 to 10 years of information onsite with immediate automated replication of data to two mirrored advanced offsite CoActiv Tier-IV archive centers. For sites of any size, QUAD-REDUNDANT ARCHIVING shifts the responsibility and burden of all archive maintenance from the client to CoActiv experts and also eliminates issues of technological obsolescence.

“We look forward to a long and successful relationship with NY Imaging Service,” said Ed
Heere, President and CEO of CoActiv. “This dynamic young distributor is an excellent fit for
our products, which will seamlessly support their DR and CR lines in radiology, orthopedic,
chiropractic
, clinical and veterinary applications.”
