CAT (CT) Scanning Software
| Radiology News - Computed Tomography (CT) |
Computed tomography (CT) scan, also known as computed axial tomography CAT scans, has become an invaluable tool in radiotherapy sector of the medical community. A CAT scans, or CAT scanning, produces clear images of the inside of any part of the body that depict soft tissue, blood vessels, and even bone. This is an incredible breakthrough when compared to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, which show only blood vessels and soft tissue, and x-ray radiography scans, which show blood vessels but not soft tissue. However, despite the efficacy of CT screenings, some patients have experienced some side effects after undergoing Computed Tomography Scans. That is why doctors do not recommend CAT scans without a good medical reason.
