3DIcon Corporation announced its presentation March 11 at a conference in Texas on Enabling Breakthroughs in Medical Electronics
3DIcon Corporation, a development-stage technology company, announced that it made a presentation March 11 at a conference in Texas on Enabling Breakthroughs in Medical Electronics. Sponsored by the Texas Life-sciences Collaboration Center and Texas Instruments, Dr. Hakki Refai, chief technology officer of 3DIcon, was invited to speak on the Company’s Patented Volumetric Display for Medical Applications to a broad audience of medical, scientific and industry personnel.
3DIcon’s proprietary 3D display system - CSpace - has been successfully demonstrated to provide true, single color, high-resolution, 360-degree, three-dimensional images without any viewing aids and is the first proven technology of its kind that has no mechanical moving parts. CSpace offers the potential to provide true 3D imaging in multiple fields and has particular application in medical instrumentation. 3DIcon has recently initiated a commercial marketing effort to targeted domestic and international companies to introduce the capabilities that the C-Space system can provide.
“We were pleased to be invited to present our CSpace display technology at this medical electronics conference. We believe this technology can provide true 360-degree, single color volumetric images which no other system has yet been able to attain and that it will have significant potential in the healthcare industry. With major applications in other fields in addition to healthcare, we have been aggressively introducing the CSpace system in numerous markets,” commented Martin Keating, 3DIcon chairman and CEO.
