Siemens will be demonstrating the latest in workflow solutions at Smart Healthcare 2008, the leading healthcare event in the UK for professionals who are looking to drive improvement in healthcare delivery. Siemens' Soarian® workflow engine will be on the stand demonstrating how it can fulfil efficient business, clinical and integration across all layers of the care continuum.
Smart Healthcare 2008 will take place on the 10-11th June at Earls Court in London. The Siemens stand will be located at SH60. Siemens will reveal how strategy, processes and IT can be linked to create the lean healthcare institution.
"Important IT solutions are needed to help meet targets such as the 18 week Referral to Treatment and reduction in hospital infection, plus streamline communication between primary and secondary sectors," said Jim Middleton, Director of Managed Service and IT Solutions at Siemens. "Our Soarian workflow engine helps provide the functionality to assist with this by creating efficiency and improving business procedures. Managers, clinicians and other staff can therefore focus on the patient rather than worrying about processes and administrative tasks."
Soarian powers the integration of clinical, financial, diagnostic and administrative processes to support patient centred care without the need to replace Patient Administration Systems (PAS). Today, 178 customers worldwide draw on the modular benefits of Soarian.
