Connect Imaging, Inc. Introduces Four New Products at SIIM Annual Meeting
| Company News - Connect Imaging, Inc. |
Connect Imaging, Inc. introduced four new FDA-approved products which improve mammography workflow.
PACS products designed for breast imaging include ViewBox Mammo, the radiologist's diagnostic workstation with Computer Enhanced Reading Strategies. Designed from the ground up to make the radiologist's job easier, ViewBox Mammo handles not only screening and diagnostic digital studies, but also ultrasound and MRI, so that there is no need to switch workstations to view other modalities.
ViewBox Mammo will automatically hang any number of films, with any view labels or view modifiers, without requiring input from the user. ViewBox Mammo allows the radiologist to see diagnostic studies first or screening views first; and choose to hang standard screening views in standard screening layout or in mirrored prior layout. Multiple images with the same view are hung in stacked mode, allowing the radiologist to scroll through them. ViewBox Mammo also sorts additional screening views according to the following DICOM screening header view descriptors: Laterality (R, L, B); View (CC, MLO, ML, etc.); View Modifier (ID, MAG, etc.); Partial View (when multiple images are required for a single breast). When ViewBox Mammo detects a diagnostic study (diagnostic views in the view modifier), it hangs the study with the diagnostic views first.
ViewBox Mammo can be paired with MammographerWorkstation. This product allows the technologist to review both prior studies and current studies in process. The revised SureScan film digitizer software allows addition of mammography-specific header tags. MammoQA allows review of studies for accuracy and the option to add/correct missing/erroneous mammography header tags.
