Del Medical Introduces the Gemini V Series of Digital Flat Panel Upgrades

Del’s New Flat Panels Provide Easy Upgrades from Film to Digital
Del Global Technologies Corp. (OTCBB:DGTC) ("Del Global" or "the Company") announced the launch of the Gemini V Series of Digital Flat Panel Detectors (FPD) as a field upgradeable retrofit for the medical imaging industry. According to Dennis Runyan, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at Del Medical Systems Group, “The addition of the Gemini V flat panels to our comprehensive suite of digital products allows customers the ability to simply and easily enhance their existing equipment on site. With Gemini V, practitioners can make the transition from film to digital output in a single day.” The Gemini V upgrades are the most recent additions to Del’s digital portfolio, providing a cost effective solution that optimizes the productivity and value of customers’ existing equipment.
ABOUT GEMINI V
The Gemini V Series consists of three detector options, all utilizing the Amorphous Silicon (a-Si) technology. The Gemini 1400V is an innovative portable flat panel detector that has exactly the same dimensions of a regular 14”x17” (36x43cm) cassette, making it an immediate replacement for CR plates and conventional films. The other two detectors in the series are the Gemini 1700V and Gemini 1700V-C both are fixed 17”x17” (43x43cm) FPD and our largest detectors designed for general digital radiographic imaging. All of the Gemini V detectors come fully integrated with DelWorks acquisition software, an intuitive Windows™ based user interface that’s designed to optimize workflow. Additional features include advanced image processing, automatic setting adjustment and full DICOM 3.0 Compatibility.
