Delta Healthcare Consulting Group awarded a major benchmarking project by Lee Memorial Healthcare System in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Delta Healthcare Consulting Group , a benchmarking, productivity and process improvement consulting company, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, was recently awarded a major benchmarking project by Lee Memorial Healthcare System in Ft. Myers, Florida.  This Multi-hospital system, consisting of Lee MemorialHospital (427 Beds), Cape Coral Hospital (291 Beds), HealthPark Medical Center and Southwest Children’s Hospital (368 Beds), and Gulf Coast Medical Center (349 Beds) requested responses from six companies, including many world-wide organizations. Delta HCG was selected to perform a productivity review of 29 “work streams”, ranging from Business Services to Case Management and from Surgical Services to Cardiology in all four facilities.

This project began in September, 2009 and was completed in March, 2010.  For a three year period over $50 million in cost savings were identified and over $90 million in revenue enhancements documented.  Implementation costs are not expected to exceed $12 million, creating a significant Return on Investment (ROI) for the hospital system.

Delta Healthcare Consulting Group is pleased to have provided these services to this multi-hospital system serving southwest Florida.  Over 100 hospitals in 23 states and the District of Columbia have received services from DHCG consultants.
