Digisonics ' OB-View Image Management & Structured Reporting System was recently chosen by St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo.

Digisonics will be implementing more than 15 OB-View systems with OB-View Net capabilities at a total of four locations. The site will utilize the OB-View and the web-based OB-View Net software system to perform image analysis, professional reporting and clinical database operations. The OB-View Net system will give clinicians the freedom to view images, edit and finalize reports in the OB-View system via the Internet.

The site will utilize OBLink modules to autopopulate essential patient information, including demographics and measurements, from the site’s Siemens/Acuson Antares, X3000 and Sequoia ultrasound systems to the Digisonics software system, and Gateway Monitor software to continuously monitor and record network activities. Clinicians will also benefit from OB Search, a configurable data mining tool for their patient database and Digisonics Rolodex for automatically transmitting reports to referring physicians via fax, print or e-mail options. Digisonics HL7 interfaces will be implemented for Orders-In and Results-Out with Epic EMR to provide real-time communication between the applications.
