SSM Health Care Implements Enterprise-wide Upgrades to OB-View Net

Company News - Digisonics, Inc.

SSM Health Care system upgraded from the OB-Windows structured reporting system to the enterprise, web-based OB-View Net Image Management and Structured Reporting System

The SSM Health Care system recently upgraded from the OB-Windows structured reporting system to the enterprise, web-based OB-View Net Image Management and Structured Reporting System for six of their hospital sites. DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton, Mo., as well as St. Mary’s Health Center and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo., will utilize the enterprise PACS and structured reporting system to review images and complete professional reports for high-risk OB ultrasounds from virtually anywhere with an Internet connection. The web-based system will provide complete access to the enterprise-wide OB-View image management and structured ultrasound reporting system, which includes a single patient record database, high-performance image review, fetal growth analysis and comprehensive structured reporting tools for the maternal-fetal medicine department.

In addition, all of the sites upgraded its OBLink modules to automate the transmission of clinical ultrasound patient information from the SSM Health Care system’s Philips, GE and Siemens ultrasound systems to the OB-View Net software system. Philips QLAB and GE 4D-View will then auto-populate 3D/4D images to the OB-View Net system, trimming operating costs and valuable clinical time.
