 Matagorda County Hospital in Bay City, Texas, upgraded their existing DigiView cardiovascular image system (CVIS) to DigiNet Pro, a web-based application.

Users can access patient images, perform analysis and create reports when it’s most convenient for them at the hospital, at home, or anywhere with Internet access. The facility also purchased a real-time Gateway Monitor that will record all network transmission events and minimize the possibility of data loss due to gateway, network or imaging modality failures.

A facility in Mineral Well, Texas, Palo Pinto General Hospital, also acquired a DigiView Image Management & Reporting System and DigiNet Pro application. In addition to DigiView ’s fast, efficient and fully configurable CVIS , a Gateway Monitor and Database Query Tool will also provide a record of network transmissions and a comprehensive querysearch tool that clinicians can use to find, track and compile important patient information.

A DataLink for GE Vivid Q will also eliminate human input errors by automating the transmission of patient data from the ultrasound machine to the Digisonics system.
