PLANILUX/Gerätebau Felix Schulte GmbH presents ELTRONO® at the European Congress of Radiology, ECR in Vienna, 6-9 March 2009.

At ECR 2008, Planilux presented the most advanced radiology working environment for soft copy reading and teleradiology users. This year, Planilux has put even more strength into innovative features in order to meet customer requirements and to make the radiologists’ working environment even more comfortable. ELTRONO®, presents this year, the following developed features:
• The Touchscreen panel is ergonomically placed for comfortable handling. The touch screen panel is where you monitor all ELTRONO® functions in just a press of a key!
• Flexible and appropriate lighting is crucial for any radiology working environment. ELTRONO® provides two separate light sources, which are controlled by the touch screen panel. Both can be turned on and off together and are dimmable. The ambient back lighting and the automatic mode is easy to adjust to provide more flexibility for the radiologist’s demands.
• ELTRONO® provides individual presets as an option. The individual working position can be saved by the user and called up at any time. The optimal ergonomic settings to which the user has adjusted the work place are then established again automatically through a memory function. A total of 16 memory locations are available. This to allow the optimal use of the work place for several users.
The patented features, the Ergo-Tilt and the Adaptive Light are still included. The important sound absorbing panel also comes as standard.
