MyLabTM Twice & O-scan at ECR 2010
| Medical Conferences News - ECR 2010 |
An innovative ultrasound system MyLabTM Twice and a new dedicated MRI system O-scan presented by Esaote at the European Congress of Radiology, ECR 2010 in Vienna.
At the European Congress of Radiology , ECR which will be held in Vienna from March 4th to 8th 2010, Esaote – leading Group in diagnostic imaging - presents two innovating systems, one in the field of ultrasound and the other in the field of dedicated MRI .
The ultrasound system MyLabTM Twice represents a further step in innovation, including the state of the art in terms of technologies and the highest level of ergonomics. MyLabTM Twice combines a “premium performance” ultrasound scanner with an arm-held wearable ultrasound, which can be quickly extracted from its slot when a point-of care approach is required. Clinical information acquired to the bedside or wherever will be easily transferred to the review working station via wireless when requested.
MyLabTM Twice has been developed to meet today's hospital organization where efficiency and productivity are very important and the expanding as well as changing of clinical needs require medical equipment to deliver high performance, ease of use and, today more than ever, innovative diagnostic solutions. In particular, in the critical care units and in the emergency department the ability to provide fast diagnosis makes the difference and may support clinicians in difficult decisions. MyLabTM Twice, the Premium Performance and Point-of-Care Ultrasound , can meet all these requirements, also allowing physicians to perfectly integrate results from point-of care exam with imaging from standard workflow.
The newest office-based O-scan is a compact dedicated MRI system that offers radiology customers a complete range of high quality imaging capabilities for extremities. The unit is a completely new development, featuring a very compact magnet with comfortable patient chair and can be installed in less than 10 m2 (100 square feet). Equipped with a complete new magnet, a new SW platform, dedicated Dual Phased Array coils with integrated preamplifiers, pre- programmed protocols, the O-scan retains Esaote’s tradition for outstanding image quality, imaging simplicity and user friendliness. The O-scan offers compelling economics with low operating and maintenance costs and represents an outstanding opportunity for practices to enhance their imaging productivity while controlling costs.
