Projectiondesign - Large-format Medical Displays: ECR 2010

Medical Conferences News - ECR 2010

ProjectionDesign will be at the ECR 2010 in Vienna demonstrating their new FL32 wuxga medical projector, the first solid-state projector tailored specifically to the medical market.

ProjectionDesign will be at the European Congress of Radiology ( ECR10 ) in Vienna demonstrating their new FL32 wuxga medical projector, the first solid-state projector tailored specifically to the medical market.

Reaffirming its commitment to the market for audiovisual technology in medical applications, Norway’s projectiondesign is to exhibit at the European Congress of Radiology ( ECR ) for the first time in 2010. Show visitors are welcome to see projectiondesign in Exhibition Hall Expo E on Booth No 566 (lower level).

Making its worldwide debut at ECR 10 will be projectiondesign’s new FL32 wuxga medical, the company’s first solid-state light-source projector to be tailored specifically to the requirements of the medical market. Fully compliant with DICOM clinical review standards, the new projector offers all the expected benefits of projectiondesign’s RealLED technology – including ultra-low power consumption, low cost of ownership, and up to 100,000 hours of operational life, making the projector virtually maintenance free.

Also on show in Vienna will be projectiondesign’s new F22 wuxga medical. The F22 wuxga medical offers the same medical-market benefits – including DICOM compliance, and pre-loaded medical calibration settings. These are all contained within the projector’s small, stylish, industrially designed and unobtrusive cabinet enclosure.

Running ‘in the background’ – but just as important – will be version 2.0 of projectiondesign’s ProNet asset-management software system, which offers remote monitoring and control of multiple projectors including automated calibration of any number of displays.

Anders Løkke, International Marketing & Communications Manager at projectiondesign, explains: “projectiondesign recognises the need to develop projectors with characteristics specifically designed for medical applications. The latest incarnations of this programme are the FL32 medical and the F22 medical, both of which offer high resolution images to ensure optimum performance and display accuracy, along with full DICOM compliance and complete compatibility with PACS systems workflows.
