EDIMS names Michael Hill as director of business development

EDIMS LLC, a leading provider of interoperable emergency department (ED) information management systems for hospitals, announced that it has named Michael Hill as director of business development to help lead the company’s continuing market penetration and growth into the southern United States. An accomplished sales executive, Hill brings more than 20 years of experience in sales management as well as marketing clinical systems, billing information systems and medical products to hospitals and physicians.

As part of EDIMS’ nationwide business development expansion, Hill will oversee sales and marketing activities in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

Prior to joining EDIMS, Hill was regional vice president of sales at eko systems inc. a leading provider of perioperative systems. In this role, he was responsible for closing sales that generated $3 million in annual revenue and developing numerous sales leads across the country.

Before that, Hill was the southwest sales manager at DocuSys Inc. where his performance added more than $6 million in revenue for the firm. He also has held sales leadership and other positions at Cardinal Health Inc., PRO-Health Research Center, Myriad Genetics, and Abbott Laboratories.
