ExitCare annouces Partnership with First DataBank to integrate their drug information into ExitCare’s ExitMeds

ExitCare, LLC, one of the nation’s leading enterprise wide patient education providers announced today that they have partnered with First DataBank, to integrate their drug information into ExitCare’s ExitMeds. “We are very excited about this partnership with First DataBank. By adding First DataBank’s drug information into the ExitMeds product, we are enhancing our customers’ ability to communicate drug information with their patients as well as provide our customers with additional functionality and efficiencies,” stated Roger Jacobi, President, ExitCare, LLC.

“ExitMeds is a module that allows users to write prescriptions electronically, perform Medication Reconciliation at discharge, and print drug specific educational monographs. Another prescription related module for the ExitCare Patient Information System includes the Patient Medication Schedule which allows clinicians to create patient friendly medication schedules, with dates and times of when to take each medication. The new First DataBank content also allows users to check for drug to drug, as well as patient allergy to drug interactions,” said Jacobi.
