Fujifilm's FCR Tackles College Bowl Games

Company News - FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, Inc.

The FCR Go from FUJIFILM Medical Systems,USA has been selected as the official portable digital x-ray system for BCS 2010 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl as well as the 2009 Insight Bowl college football games.

The innovative FCR Go will be on site to image injured players of the participating teams, providing the means for the near immediate diagnosis of athletes during these two competitive bowl games. The system’s speed and ease-of-use attributed to the selection of the popular portable system. Since the FCR Go can take X-ray of patients and provide digital images at a workstation within seconds, it eliminates the need to print X-ray films and, players can be diagnosed more quickly.

“The teams have worked extraordinarily hard to get to play in these games. With the FCR Go, injured athletes can be examined more efficiently and team doctors have diagnostic certainty to ensure that they can safely return to the game.” says Penny Maier, Director of Marketing Imaging Systems.

FUJIFILM Medical Systems digital x-ray is already a mainstay at many professional and collegiate venues in the US. The FCR Go is a high performance portable digital x-ray system that provides all of the same functionality and conveniences of standalone Fujifilm digital x-ray system, but remotely.
