Global ECG Management System Software Integrated Into GE Healthcare MARS Cardiac Event Station
CardioComm Solutions, Inc. (TSX-V: EKG) announced shipment of their Global ECG Management System (GEMS) software as part of a multi-year North American licensing agreement signed last November with GE Healthcare division, and a subsequent OEM agreement signed this past summer. Focusing on optimal cardiac arrhythmia management, CardioComm’s GEMS is being rebranded as GE’s non-invasive arrhythmia analysis and diagnostic data management systems called MARS Event Station and MARS Event Station Lite.
Etienne Grima, CFO/COO for CardioComm Solutions, said “Our GEMS software is highly compatible with GE Healthcare hardware and with the majority of loop recorders in the marketplace, providing a high level of flexibility and stability to the cardiac arrhythmia management environment. We are proud of our collaboration with GEHC and look forward to the next three years as we continue to confirm our products’ reliability and ease of use. Initial sales began this summer and Q4 2009 sales forecasts are anticipated to be brisk.”
