DSS Hosts Educational Pavilion Panel Session: HIMSS10

DSS, Inc. will be hosting an educational panel session on the benefits and importance of open source technology in healthcare at the HIMSS 2010 Conference & Exhibition in Atlanta.
DSS, Inc., a leading provider of software, integration, installation, project management, training, support and development of VistA, will be hosting an educational panel session on the benefits and importance of open source technology in healthcare at the HIMSS 10 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Atlanta on Tuesday, March 2, from 4:15–5:15 p.m. in room #959.
The session will highlight the different viewpoints of industry thought leaders, who include Alesha Adamson, director, open source solutions – healthcare for Misys; William (Bill) C. Grosso, president of Spectron Corp.; and Skip McGaughey, executive director of Open Health Tools. These individuals who bring extensive experience in the healthcare IT industry and in working with open source technology will discuss their thoughts on open source electronic health records ( EHR s), current industry trends, how these EHR s will meet meaningful use standards and support the ARRA, and the major benefits of the technology that sets it apart from other commercial EHR s.
