Healthcare management consulting firm Beacon Partners, Inc. announces that they donate the proceeds that result from an in-booth promotion during HIMSS 2010 in Atlanta.
Healthcare management consulting firm Beacon Partners, Inc. announced they will donate the proceeds that result from an in-booth promotion during HIMSS 2010 to Atlanta’s Southside Medical Center, one of Georgia’s leading healthcare providers that deliver services to the medically underserved. Visitors to Beacon Partners booth # 7832 will have the opportunity to enter their “Cash Booth” to grab as much cash as they can to help demonstrate how healthcare organizations are striving to get as much ARRA incentive money as possible.
“Healthcare organizations across the country are all at various stages of implementing their EHR strategy in order to show organizational readiness for meaningful use on schedule with the ARRA requirements,” explains Ralph P. Fargnoli, Jr., president and CEO of Beacon Partners. “In the midst of all the stresses and challenges of doing so, this is a light hearted way of demonstrating how they are all trying to maximize their incentives by ‘grabbing’ cash in our cash booth.”
Cash taken from the booth will be accumulated over the course of HIMSS , and a check for the total amount will be sent to Atlanta’s Southside Medical Center. The person who “grabs” the most cash each day for the first three days will receive either a Garmin GPS nüvi 260, or a $100 American Express gift card. Every participant will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card.
