HIMSS Announces Keynote Speakers for HIMSS11

The Annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society ( HIMSS2011 ) Conference & Exhibition offer high leveled healthcare IT and management systems education.
HIMSS is starting to unveil the dynamic lineup of HIMSS11 keynote speakers. Actor Michael J. Fox will deliver the keynote on Thursday, Feb. 24, from 8:30-9:30 am. Fox became one of the most popular TV and film stars of the 80's and 90's, with his best-known and award-winning roles on Family Ties, Spin City and Back to the Future. Fox is also a bestselling author of two books, Lucky Man and Always Looking Up: The Adventures of an Incurable Optimist, which chronicles his battle with Parkinson's disease. During his keynote, Fox will share his experiences as a patient and how IT impacts healthcare. Additionally on Thursday from 12:30 to 2 pm, Richard Boyd, expert in simulations for computer gaming, defense and film industries, will share his experiences with technologies used in the film Avatar and their importance for the healthcare industry. The Annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society ( HIMSS2011 ) Conference & Exhibition offer high leveled healthcare IT and management systems education. The program of HIMSS2011 was created by the Society’s Annual Conference Education Committee (ACEC), which includes 12 members. The program was designed to cope with the needs of attendees to get updated on the latest in healthcare IT field.
