HealthPort recovery audit contractor (RAC) management tool, HealthPort RACPro, now holds the distinction, through the American Hospital Association (AHA), of being RACTrac Compatible.

HealthPort , Inc., a top 25-company in the healthcare information technology industry, , announced its recovery audit contractor (RAC) management tool, HealthPort RACPro, now holds the distinction, through the American Hospital Association (AHA), of being RACTrac Compatible.

RACTrac compatibility gives hospitals the ability to report their RAC experience to the AHA, on a quarterly basis. This information is critical to the AHA’s efforts to improve the RAC program. “HealthPort RACPro has the tools healthcare facilities need to improve workflow, increase efficiency and minimize financial risk,” said Jonathan Arkin, Vice President of Business Development, HealthPort. “RACTrac compatibility, gives RACPro an opportunity to assist with shaping the future of the RAC process.”
