HealthTec Software announces the release of the newest version of FoxMed 3a

HealthTec Software, Inc. (www.healthtec-software.com), a leading provider of medical (FoxMed) and dental (FoxDent) practice management software systems announces the release of the newest version of FoxMed called 3a.

Some of the biggest problems facing Medical offices today are mounting paperwork generated by insurance carriers and government agencies such as Medicare and Medicaid, a need for financial control and a lack of efficiency in the practice. HealthTec Software designed their latest release to answer these crucial areas of managing a medical practice.

New features and benefits are too numerous to list here, but an example is the new Cyclical Patient Statements feature. This allows statements to be run daily in an electronic batch, ensuring a patient statement is immediately generated without staff intervention as soon as any new portion of an account becomes responsible by the patient. This can have a remarkable positive impact on cash flow as well as helping to lower the AR of almost any practice.

Another example is an enhanced version of QuickPost, a premier feature of FoxMed. In addition to allowing the user to quickly and efficiently post payments and adjustments to claims across an insurance carrier or insurance plan, it now allows to post by Payor ID as well. This enhancement helps streamline payment posting from an EOB that covers multiple insurance carriers or plans. FoxMed 3a also continues to increase efficiency by decreasing keystrokes and steps required to complete daily tasks such as transaction entry. Additional enhancements to the currently robust security model assist practices with HIPAA security and privacy requirements.

The continued improvements to FoxMed reporting capabilities are also numerous. Capabilities are continuously added to help provide the physician and office staff with the data needed to effectively manage a practice.
