Eliza Corporation, the leading provider of integrated healthcare communication strategies will be part of discussions about the future role of businesses in healthcare and how they are transforming and being transformed by Health 2.0. Health 2.0 will provide a sweeping overview of the ways that information technology and the Web are changing healthcare. Health 2.0 Conference will have More than a hundred speakers, live demos and technologies on display. The event wil take place at the San Francisco Concourse Exhibition Center, California
Alexandra Drane, President and Co-Founder, Eliza Corporation, in a conversation with Chris Rauber, health care reporter, San Francisco Business Times in the panel discussion, “3 CEOs and a President” will explore the role of businesses in health care, and how they are both transforming and being transformed by Health 2.0. The session between Drane and Rauber will touch on Eliza’s engagement platform and the company’s evolution over the past ten years to a coordinated multimodal platform approach that engages individuals in health-related conversations driven by deep data analytics leveraging both traditional and non-traditional factors. Drane will also discuss the impact that the viral movement Engage With Grace has had on end-of-life discussions since its launch at the October 2008 Health 2.0 conference. The presentation is going to take place on wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 8:40 AM PDT.
Drane with Joshua Rosenthal Ph.D, Product Engagement Guru at Eliza Corporation will present as part of the “Innovations in Health 2.0 Tools” panel. The “Innovations in Health 2.0 Tools” panel will demonstrate interoperability across a range of Health 2.0 tools. Drane and Rosenthal will show how Eliza is building member-level profiles based on individuals’ attitudes, beliefs, and motivations, and then applying that information to communicate in the most personally relevant and effective way. The session will be moderated by Aaron Apodoca & Julie Murchinson, Health 2.0 Accelerator and Matthew Holt, Health 2.0. The Tools panel will be held on wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 2:00 PM PDT
Drane said that “We see phenomenal outcomes when we use technology to genuinely engage people, capture meaning from our interactions with them, apply hard-core analysis to determine the implications of the data – and then roll out programs that are designed around what actually resonates with individuals, not what we wish would resonate. Our approach lets us make these highly tailored interactions in a coordinated, multimodal way - so people feel ‘heard’. As a long-term member of the Health 2.0 community, it’s gratifying to see the progress being made on so many fronts.” he added.
