Latest KISANO Release to be Unveiled at the XIVth SYMPOSIUM of the BSNM in Bruges

Healthcare IT News - Healthcare Informatics

Euromedim will unveil its latest KISANO release at the XIVth SYMPOSIUM of the BSNM (Belgian Society of Nuclear Medecine) in Bruges (May 15, 17 – 2009).

KISANO is a proven, secured, robust and the only true P2P (Peer to Peer) communication platform which makes the complexity of multi modalities and systems of the Health sector simpler and easier.

Data is moved node to node with no central storage of information. With total control of the information to be published, nuclear medicine doctors have now a smart solution to transfer heavy exams imaging generated by computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and positron emission tomographyPET) to practitioners from other hospitals/clinics. Any other electronic file can be shared (virtual histological slices, X-ray exams, surgery video file, electronic documents).

By using the Internet connectivity, KISANO avoids deploying costly infrastructures.

As an open Framework, KISANO allows to share an electronic health record, transfer all kind of medical images, organize a teleconference with visualization of the oncologic data, communicate with hospitals and general practitioners, perform electronic pharmaceutical prescription, offer anonymized databases for training or quality control, archive the medical data in datacenters.

EUROMEDIM provides services in tele-medicine and medical imaging and it is focused on the development, distribution and support of the most advanced collaboration platform KISANO. Sorin Ciocea Business Director stated that ‘our company objective is to deliver to health providers the communication platform that minimizes operations costs while maximizing the quality of services to patients.”

Serge Ravenne Consulting Director says “the demand for tele- applications in nuclear medicine is experiencing exponential growth. By using standard technology we are now able to provide solutions with custom workflows connecting seamlessly healthcare players”.
