OSI Systems, Inc., a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronic products for applications in the Security and Healthcare industries, announced that its Healthcare division, Spacelabs Healthcare, has received a contract valued at $4.5 million from a Florida-based hospital to provide patient monitoring equipment and Intesys Clinical Suite (ICS) G2, an integrated application suite for collecting and organizing patient information.

In a release, OSI Systems said the patient monitoring equipment is expected to be installed throughout the hospital's care units. The ICS G2 enables the transfer of critical data to the Hospital Information System ( HIS ).

OSI Systems CEO Deepak Chopra said, "We are excited about the opportunity to provide Spacelab's patient monitoring and connectivity solutions. We remain committed to supporting this customer's completion of its vital technology implementations in the future."
