Voalté communication solution is now available for BlackBerry smartphones

Voalté, the leader in Point-of-Care communication technology, announced its Voalté One solution will be available for BlackBerry smartphones. The application brings cutting edge communication technology to nurses and other point-of-care workers.

Voalté (nomenclature derived from Voice, Alarm, Text) seamlessly consolidates all three functions on the BlackBerry platform. The first-of-its-kind application enables users to send and receive text messages, make voice calls, and receive critical care alarms on BlackBerry smartphones, providing faster response times to patient needs.

“Hospitals continue to choose BlackBerry smartphones for leading edge security manageability, device choice and custom third party solutions,” said Tyler Lessard, VP Global Alliances and Developer Relations, Research in Motion. “By combining the mobility and security of the BlackBerry platform with the Voalté solution, nurses and clinical workers will be able to further streamline communications and enhance the quality of patient care.”

“The BlackBerry platform is the leading choice in the healthcare sector,” said Trey Lauderdale, vice president of innovation at Voalté. “We’re excited to make our application available for BlackBerry smartphones to help healthcare professionals improve communications at the point-of-care.”
