Eating more fish that is rich in omega-3 fatty acids seems slow down the process of advanced macular degeneration. This is what causes age-related blindness. New research published in this month's Ophthalmology looked at 2,390 participants people 65 to 84 on Maryland's Eastern Shore and it showed an obvious protective effect found in those people eating seafood high in omega-3s. There is no doubt this stuff works. My question is why don't fish see well enough to realize that a hook and line are stuck to the bait they are pursuing?
