Healthland Appoints Stan Opstad

Healthland , healthcare information solutions, announced the appointment of Stan Opstad to the executive team as the senior vice president of product management and development.
Healthland , America's market leader of healthcare information solutions for small community and critical access hospitals, announcedthe appointment of Stan Opstad to the executive team as the senior vice president of product management and development. In the new role, Opstad will lead a group of focused and experienced healthcare product managers, workflow experts, user interface specialists, architects and programmers. This team will continue to focus on developing products that will enable small community hospitals to provide the highest level of patient care and safety, while meeting meaningful use criteria under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). Opstad’s new position is effective immediately.

Opstad previously held the position of product management director at Minneapolis-based and leading healthcare IT provider, Ingenix. In this role, he was responsible for driving growth strategies within product management, development, marketing, sales and operations. Opstad has also held positions with technology leaders including Lawson Software, Agiliti, Retek and Net Perceptions.

Opstad is a senior leader with nearly 20 years of experience in domestic and international product management, operations and business development with high growth companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota.
