IDEXX Telemedicine has acquired VDIC, Inc.

IDEXX Telemedicine has acquired VDIC, Inc., a provider of telemedicine and cytopathology services to small and large animal veterinarians. Both the entities are based in the US.

IDEXX Telemedicine, a division of IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., offers consulting services to support veterinary needs. IDEXX Laboratories is engaged in the development and commercialization of technology-based products and services for veterinary, food, and water applications.

The acquisition of VDIC's teleradiology technology and customer support would give the combined organization greater resources and a broad menu of veterinary telemedicine services.
