INFINITT North America and INFINITT Healthcare Co. Ltd, leading developers of Picture Archiving and Communications Systems ( PACS ) and other advanced imaging and information technologies for healthcare, announced the establishment of INFINITT Europe GmbH (IEU), based in Frankfurt, Germany, on September 1, 2009. INFINITT Europe has been established to better support existing customers in the region, and will focus its marketing and sales activities in Germany, England and Italy. INFINITT has been distributing its PACS software in Europe since early 2008, winning PACS contracts at prestigious university hospitals such as Giessen and Magdebrug University Hospital. The European market makes up about 25% of the global PACS market, and is currently showing more than 8% annual growth.

Although the European PACS market is a mature market, it shows strong demand for image sharing across multi-site, multi-facility healthcare systems, as well as PACS replacement systems and upgrades.
