InDex VNA Stores Over 2 Million Exams High Monthly Volume

Company News - InSite One

InSite One , Inc  announced that its InDex VNA has archived over 2 million exams during October 2010, averaging 67,500 exams daily, reaching the highest monthly volume since the founding of the company in 1999.

This advance in monthly volume of studies illustrates the rapid implementation of InDex VNA and cloud services in newly contracted sites and loyal customer renewals.  InSite One sustains the single largest medical data archive, containing over 6% of the US population’s imaging studies and related reports and connecting over 800 healthcare institutions nationally with a proven platform for sharing patient information across the continuum of care.

The utilization of imaging is changing as the market forces drive referrals to ambulatory care and acute care organizations. InSite One ’s InDex VNA services are contributing to this evolving and growing market by delivering the flexibility providers require for cost containment in archiving expansion.

“This volume milestone demonstrates the appropriateness of our cloud-based service model, the flexibility of our architecture and financial offerings that is demanded by each of our clients,” commented Jim Champagne, President and Chief Executive Officer, InSite One . “Our continued commitment  to expand the proven VNA with provider and patient sharing capabilities in the health information exchange environment is the next milestone our clients are asking us to support. We are pleased to be demonstrating these capabilities at this year’s RSNA conference.”

Visit InSite One at booth #3819 at the Radiological Society of North America ( RSNA-2010 ) Conference on November 28 through December 2, at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL. InSite One will also be demonstrating its solutions in the IHE Image Sharing booth, #2852.
