insitelogo391

InSite One , Inc. will demonstrate at HIMSS 2010 in Atlanta (March 1 to 3, 2010), new InDex enterprise archive service features that expand upon the unique toolset utilizing the enterprise archive as the conduit for patient health information exchange. As the continuum of care reaches beyond the departmental level and across multiple providers, access to images and diagnostic reports must be accessible by any enterprise application. The potential cost of this integration combined with data consolidation faces healthcare IT infrastructures with meager budgets. InSite One provides a cost-effective means to protect and share patient information to address these challenges. InDex enterprise archive services deliver to institutions and affiliated clinical partners the ability to seamlessly share patient data while leveraging a common data management service in an advantageous model for all parties.

InSite One ’s InDex enterprise archive service, the nation’s largest single IHE standards-based, vendor-neutral active archive continues to expand beyond two petabytes of clinical data. With this expertise in managing the intricacies of medical datasets, InSite One will demonstrate the benefits of InDex workflow tools for patient information sharing that include imaging. The innovative InDex Archive Viewing Interface (IAVI) will be featured showing the integration of the archive portal into clinical applications providing storage as the conduit for exchange with consistent data representation regardless of source. The combination of the standards-based storage services with the IAVI enables any portal, patient health record or electronic medical record to include support for all medical images and related information by this means enhancing the quality of the longitudinal patient record.

“The latest InDex feature set will facilitate a community of healthcare providers and demonstrate ‘meaningful use’ for our customers,” comments Mitchell Goldburgh, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. “Our InDex technology has been adopted by our business partners SunGard, MEDecision, and IBM to empower their clients’ IT infrastructure solutions,” Mr. Goldburgh concluded.

For a demonstration of the Enterprise Archive and XDS exchange capabilities of InDex services visit InSite One booth #7555 at HIMSS 10 in Atlanta, March 1 to 3, 2010. InSite One is proud to be a sponsor and participate in the HIMSS 2010 Interoperability Showcase demonstrating the value of standards-based health information technologies with their InDex document source and document consumer profiles. The 2010 Showcase will incorporate the initial, proposed metrics of ‘meaningful use’ of electronic health record and other connected systems as part of its real-time demonstrations. Attendees can track their EHR and PHR through the Showcase, designed as a HIMSS Health Information Exchange ( HIE )-based environment with realistic demonstration of complex healthcare scenarios.  These settings use the standards-based IHE framework and specifications of the Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP), recognized and accepted by the Department of Health and Human Services.
