InSite One will introduce new applications of the InDex enterprise archive managed service at the SIIM 2010
InSite One , Inc. will exhibit at SIIM 2010 booth #414, new applications of the InDex enterprise archive managed service that leverage and expand upon their proven enterprise archive as the conduit for patient health information exchange. Demonstrated at the show will be the electronic sharing of medical imaging across the continuum of care to go beyond the departmental level and across multiple providers where access to images and diagnostic reports must be available on-demand without the overhead imposed by optical media. These new InDex applications expand upon its vendor-neutral enterprise archive capabilities to provide seamless sharing of patient data while leveraging a common data management service model which is a proven model for healthcare institutions and affiliated clinical partners.
Growing beyond three petabytes of clinical data under management, InSite One’s InDex enterprise archive managed service continues to be the nation’s largest single IHE standards-based, vendor-neutral cloud repository. With this expertise in managing the intricacies of medical datasets, InSite One will demonstrate the benefits of InDex workflow tools for patient information sharing together with imaging. The innovative zero-footprint InDex Archive Viewing Interface (IAVI) will be featured showing the integration of the archive portal into clinical applications providing storage as the conduit for the exchange with consistent data representation regardless of source. The combination of the standards-based storage services with the IAVI enables any portal, electronic patient health information (ePHI) or electronic medical record ( EMR ) to include support for all medical images and related information by this means enhancing the quality of the longitudinal patient record.
“This most recent InDex feature set will help facilitate a community of healthcare providers and in the process demonstrate ‘meaningful use’ for our customers,” comments Mitchell Goldburgh , Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. “Our InDex technology has been adopted by our business partners including Avreo, MEDecision, SunGard Availability Services, and Venyu to empower their clients’ IT infrastructure solutions,” Mr. Goldburgh concluded.
InSite One ’s Mitchell Goldburgh will be participating as a panelist in the Learning Track, Vendor Tie-In Session on Saturday, June 5, 2010 8am to 9:30am on Image Sharing and Accessibility. In this session the discussion will focus on the challenges of image sharing and how the secure and reliable network transport of imaging studies between disparate facilities is considered the next evolution in providing comprehensive patient imaging records.
