NHS Additional Supply Capability and Capacity

Company News - Insignia Medical Systems
Insignia Medical Systems has signed a Framework Contract to provide ASCC

Insignia Medical Systems has signed a Framework Contract to provide additional capacity and capability in the supply of Radiology and Imaging Services to the NHS.

The Additional Services and Capability Catalogue (ASCC) framework contract enables Authorities such as Strategic Health Authorities, NHS Trusts and PCTs to procure services to supplement the existing CFH supply capacity and enable new requirements to be met through a readily available approved Framework.

The Frameworks will enable the streamlined procurement of IT systems and services from suppliers who have demonstrated experience in the health sector and can be used to support both National Programme for IT (NPfIT) related work and wider IT related projects.

Insignia Medical Systems successfully demonstrated our experience to the ASCC team in the delivery of Radiology and Imaging Services and were rewarded with a contract in the much coveted Lot-2 (Clinical Information Technology (CIT) Services) of the new catalogue.

Richard Dormer, Managing Director of Insignia Medical Systems said: “The new ASCC contracts will provide Authorities with a choice of services from suppliers who have met the exacting standards expected to deliver into the National Health Service. Insignia Medical Systems is well equipped to meet the expected demand for quality services designed to supplement their existing solutions provided by the National Programme for IT. In particular the provision of services focused on the delivery of Medical Imaging Systems, along with the integration of equipment and technology within the Radiology workspace.”
