Plexus Teleradiology will be using InteleOne Distributed Radiology Solution for its managed services offering to radiology practices

Intelerad Medical Systems announced that Integrated Medical Partners (IMP) has chosen its InteleOne ™ Distributed Radiology Solution to form the core of its new managed teleradiology services solution, called Plexus Teleradiology. Built to support radiology practices that want to offer effective teleradiology services, Plexus Teleradiology provides the complete solution and manpower to facilitate the delivery of healthcare from radiologist to patient, including ongoing IT support and follow-up to ensure uninterrupted connectivity, maximized radiologist productivity, automated peer review, and correct back-end billing and administration.

Intelerad will provide Plexus client practices with the medical imaging infrastructure, including a unified worklist and viewer reading platform, that provides the efficient and robust connection of the radiologist to any image source. “Intelerad’s distributed architecture provides the interoperable, fault-tolerant and scalable solution required to offer a reliable reading and reporting environment, so we are quite pleased to have Intelerad as our technology partner,” stated William G.
